What formations can you play in FPL?
You can have almost any formation you want as long as you meet the minimum requirements of one goalkeeper, three defenders and at least one striker selected at any given time.
The various types of formations that will be eligible are:
- 3-4-3
- 3-5-2
- 4-4-2
- 4-3-3
- 4-5-1
- 5-3-2
- 5-4-1
- 5-2-3
The 3-4-3 is usually the most popular formation as it allows for the most attackers, however with defenders becoming such an important part of any attack, the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James change the way the game is played. proving most people’s first choices for their team.
