  • Kristin Cavallari accused Adam DiVello of bribing cast members to say he had a drug problem.
  • She said “The Hills” producer bribed Lo Bosworth with a Birkin bag on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
  • He said DiVello was not a “good man” but a “great producer.”

Kristin Cavallari claimed Adam DiVello bribed “The Hills” cast members to say he had a drug problem with a Birkin bag in an episode of “Call Her Daddy” that aired Wednesday.

“He bribed the girls to call me on camera for doing drugs with a purse,” the former “Hills” star told host Alex Cooper at 4:06 p.m. “It was difficult and Adam and I fought a lot about it,” she continued.

The “Very Cavallari” star claimed she countered the allegations by telling the situation on camera.

“I’d be on camera shooting like I knew it was Adam, my mouth was just watering,” she said. According to Cavallari, he called her and told her “you need to stop saying that” and she told him “but you did!”

Cavallari said the producer also fed false stories to tabloids and created a story that she was “doing drugs and out of control.”

“He would create these stories on the show that were bullshit, but then go and feed the tabloids,” he continued.

Cavallari said while she enjoyed partying in her twenties and has no regrets about that time in her life, she questioned the idea that she let things go too far.

“I was never out of control,” he said. “It was never a cause for concern.”

“I never needed rehab. No one in my life worried about me,” he added.

In the season six, first episode of “The Hills,” cast members Audrina Patridge, Stephanie Pratt, and Lo Bosworth criticized Cavallari’s partying. In a scene shot at Eden Roc Miami Beach, Bosworth referred to Cavallari as “popped” to Patridge and Pratt on camera before Cavallari entered the room to confront them about their whispers.

“We’re worried about you,” Patridge said. “Everybody says you do drugs,” Bosworth added. “Your legs are like tiny, you wear sunglasses all day,” Pratt said.

Cavallari responded that her legs were “always tiny” on stage. She emphasized in the “Call Her Daddy” interview that the scene was shot first thing in the morning and that she had just woken up.

DiVello is the founder of Done and Done Productions. He produced the MTV reality show “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and its spinoff “The Hills.” “Laguna Beach” followed the lives of teenagers in Laguna Beach, California from 2004 to 2006. “The Hills” followed “Laguna Beach” star Lauren Conrad as she moved to the Hollywood Hills from 2006 to 2010.

Cavallari began her reality TV career as a high school student on “Laguna Beach” in 2004. She currently co-hosts a Dear Media rerun podcast called “Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen,” which dives into the production process of each episode of “Laguna Beach.” She joined the cast of “The Hills” in 2010 to replace Conrad in the fifth season and was the star of the final season of the six-season series.

Cavallari is not the only star of a DiVello production to criticize his tactics. The star of “The Hills”. Heidi Montag and “Selling Sunset” Christine Quinn have spoken about the producer. Cooper asked Cavallari if she knew about the allegations that DiVelo had molested Montag. Montag’s husband Spencer Pratt DiVello molested his then-girlfriend while filming the reality series on an episode of “Call Her Daddy” published on June 15.

“Spencer talked about what happened with Heidi. Did you know that?” Cooper asked.

“No because that was before I came on the show,” Cavallari replied. “My issue with him was a bribery situation.”

Cavallari named a partner he accused of taking an alleged bribe: “I just hope Lo learned that you always have to write these things down because he never took her wallet,” he said. “It was a Birkin, but you have to write it down.”

“Sorry girl, hope it was worth it,” he added.
