Today’s Wordle #411 Hint & Answer

Spoilers ahead, to fill you with dread or put thoughts in your head, so get out of bed.

The hint: I already gave you one, actually I gave you a ton.

And the answer is . . . .

Another difficult word!

Sure, maybe not as hard as shy but still tough. I think I got pretty lucky on this one, though not on my third guess necessarily. My first two happened to rule out almost any other option.

In fact, hoist-even though it contained only one yellow letter “H”—it reduced my possible solutions from 2,309 to just 53!

Even better, cheap reduced those 53 to just 1, though I obviously didn’t realize it at the time and knew none of it until I went to His Highness, the One and Only and All-Holy and Probably Very Beautiful (But Also Rude and Probably Vain) The Big Know It All, Wordle Bot.

Still, I was pretty confused at this point. I couldn’t think of anything involving the letter ‘U’ which was the only pure vowel left. Once I thought about ‘Y’ and where that could go, I finally popped ‘E’ in the last box and went for RHYME. Even then, I didn’t think it would be the right answer.

Lucky for me, it was! Huzzah!
