The California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation may revoke the membership of Paul Pelosi — husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi — after he allegedly violated its policy during his DUI arrest in May by flashing his membership card of.

During his arrest — where reports indicated he had slurred speech and red and watery eyes — Pelosi reportedly gave officers his driver’s license and an “11-99 Foundation” card when asked for identification, prompting the association’s enforcement law to investigate, Fox News mentionted.

The 11-99 Foundation is a charitable organization for the California Highway Patrol established in 1982 “to provide emergency benefits and assistance to CHP officers and their families and scholarships to their children,” the website declare yourself.

The foundation confirmed to Fox News that any member who mentions the foundation’s name or property during contact with law enforcement violates the terms and conditions of the group’s agreement. The foundation said part of the policy prohibits attempting to use one’s membership in exchange for “preferential treatment” with police and would lead to immediate termination.

Laura Reed, a spokeswoman for the foundation, told Fox News Digital, “We will await the outcome of this litigation and will evaluate Mr. Pelosi’s membership once we have all the facts.”

“If he is found to have violated our terms and conditions, we will revoke his membership and request that all membership information be returned as it is the property of the 11-99 Foundation,” Reid added. “Once we receive these items, we will issue a refund for any contribution he has made to the Foundation.”

Fox News noted that the foundation and Reid were aware of the Paul Pelosi incident, but that it was “an ongoing investigation and the foundation did not yet have all the facts.”

Paul Pelosi was involved in a car accident on May 28 around 10:00 p.m., just five miles from Pelosi’s River Run vineyard. Pelosi was arrested and charged with DUI shortly after the crash.

As Breitbart News reported:

Pelosi was driving east on Walnut Drive when he attempted to cross State Route-29 and his 2021 Porsche was “struck” by a northbound Jeep just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the CHP said in a statement.

Paul Pelosi’s attorney, Amanda Bevins, “declined to comment” on the matter to Fox News.

“These cards are used to recognize our members at various public and private events and to show pride in CHP membership and support,” Reed said.
