Big leak reveals all the Samsung gadgets coming next week

The next highly anticipated Samsung Unpacked event is scheduled for August 10, with the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro on the agenda – and we now drop a look at all this material.

Over the 91 mobiles (opens in new tab) have a whole slew of leaked renders showing off the phones, smartwatches, and wireless earbuds that are set to be officially unveiled next week. In addition, all of the released products are revealed from a variety of angles and in a variety of different colors.

We’ll get a look at some add-ons and accessories – the charging case for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, for example, the S Pen case that will be available for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, and some of the additional straps on the way for the Galaxy Watch 5.

Color options

These renders match previous leaks we’ve seen for these products, but we haven’t seen such a comprehensive one-shot photo dump until now. That should be enough to last you until Wednesday at 6am. PT / 9 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. BST / 11pm AEST.

One detail that is noticeable here is that there is a lot of Bora Purple: this is the new shade that has just been added to the Galaxy S22 series and has also been discussed in rumors surrounding the new devices. There are also plenty of more conventional color options here too, so there should be something for everyone.

We’ll of course bring you all the news and announcements as they happen on Wednesday, so be sure to stick with TechRadar when the day comes. After that, Samsung’s next major product launch will be for the Galaxy S23.

Analysis: Samsung’s big day

We’re used to product launches here at TechRadar, but Samsung’s Unpacked event lined up for August 10 is undoubtedly top notch in terms of expectations and scale. We have already seen official teaser trailers for the upcoming showcase.

While most of the attention may be on the flagship phones – iPhone vs Galaxy vs Pixel – this is where Samsung has a chance to improve on its foldable phone lead. Neither Apple nor Google has a foldable device on the market yet, while Samsung is about to unveil its fourth-generation model.

In other categories, Samsung is catching up with Apple: the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds product lines are still well behind the Apple Watch and Apple AirPods in terms of sales and brand recognition, but that could start to change when these new devices go on sale.

What’s certain is that Samsung is apparently pulling out all the stops: with two foldable phones and two smartwatch models on the way, it can’t be accused of being half-hearted in its 2022 lineup.
