Jurgen Klopp showed his appreciation for Alexsander Mitrovic by hilariously slapping him after his colossal display against Liverpool.

Mitrovic starred as he scored both of Fulham’s goals in their 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

The big Serbian forward has silenced his doubters having struggled in the Premier League after his Championship heroics.

And his stunning outing against Liverpool prompted a brilliant response from Jurgen Klopp, who jokingly slapped the Fulham player.

The German manager entered the pitch after the final whistle and shook the player’s hand before giving him a cheeky slap in appreciation.

Mitrovic started the new season the way he ended last season, scoring an incredible 43 goals in Fulham’s Championship win.

Marco Silva’s charges continue in the league next Saturday at Wolves.
