EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene says she’s open to running on a national ticket, either as vice president or president, at some point in the future.

“Those are things I’m certainly interested in, as long as I think they’re achievable and I can be effective in those roles,” Greene said during an interview with Fox News Digital Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). in Dallas, Texas. “But we’ll see what happens down the road.”

Georgia’s first congresswoman has raised more than $10 million for her re-election campaign since the beginning of last year. However, Green isn’t just sitting on that money.

Instead, the congresswoman is using it to support candidates in her and Trump’s populist style of politics. In recent months, Greene has endorsed Ohio’s JD Vance and Arizonan Blake Masters in their Senate races.

“I would love to see the Republican Party be the party that truly represents the American people,” he said. “I think the inner circle within the GOP is struggling to find that identity, but I hope to play a big role in helping them really realize what their constituents want.”

A small business owner and mother of three, Green said she was forced to run for elected office because Republicans on Capitol Hill ignored the conservative base.

“I’m a normal person, I never intended to be a member of Congress, but I can tell you with certainty that the American people want to see elected leaders in the Republican Party actually do the job they campaigned for and said they would do “, he said. “I was one of those Americans who felt disappointed when Republicans didn’t do things like repeal ObamaCare [and] defund Planned Parenthood.”
