
As the NBA offseason winds down, players are finding ways to stay in shape ahead of training camp next month.
While many players conduct their own offseason training programs, others play in various pro-am events around the country that take place each summer.
This weekend, veteran NBA guard Isaiah Thomas hosted the seventh annual “Zeke-End” pro-am tournament at Tacoma Community College in Washington.
The event drew several NBA players, including newly acquired Hawks guard Dejude Murray, as well as Magic rookie Paolo Banchero.

And after the showdown with Murray over the weekend, Banchero probably wishes he hadn’t stuck with them in Tacoma.
Murray embarrassed the Magic rookie by going up and down Banchero, throwing himself an alley-oop off the backboard and then dunking on the 2022 top pick. Murray then got to his feet and made sure to tell Banchero everything did to him.

While Murray got the last laugh in the pro-am, Banchero won’t soon forget the game and should make for some interesting matchups between the Magic and the Hawks this season.
