According to NFT data aggregator data CryptoSlamthe volume of sales for NFTs minted on the Ethereum network has gradually decreased since early August.

In fact, at the time of writing, the chain’s total sales were $82,541,608.15. This represents a 10% decrease in the last seven days alone.

Now, how did the top NFT collections on the Ethereum network fare during the aforementioned period?

CryptoPunks

This is a collection of 10,000 uniquely created characters. At press time, the floor for the NFT collection was 74.49 ETH, after hiking 9.54% over the past seven days.

So far this month, a total of $8.34 million has been calculated in sales volume for the collection, according to data from NFTGo. This has seen an increase of 135% within this period. After rising 3.21% in the last seven days, the collection’s market value is located at $2.41 billion.

However, significant trading activity has been underway over the past 24 hours. In fact, data from CryptoSlam put CryptoPunks on top of other projects as the highest volume NFT collection in the last 24 hours.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC)

Founded by Yuga Laboratories, BAYC is a collection of 10,000 unique Bored Ape NFTs designed to live on the Ethereum blockchain. Over the past seven days, with 58 sell trades completed so far between 53 sellers and 57 buyers, the total sales volume recorded by this NFT collection has reached $8.52 million.

Unfortunately, unlike CryptoPunks, BAYC saw a 2.65% drop in its market capitalization over the same period.

Its bottom price also fell by -4.75% in the last seven days. At press time, this was 81.75 ETH on the charts.

The collection also took a huge hit in its sales volume in the last 24 hours. With just over $1.2 million recorded, it saw a 52% decrease over the aforementioned period.

Moonbirds

Described as a utility-enabled PFP, Moonbirds is a collection of 10,000 NFTs, each with a diverse and unique pool of rarity-powered features.

The bottom price of the collection has fallen by 12.06% in the last seven days. At press time, a collector can collect a Moonbird for just 16.4 ETH ($27,603.40). As expected, with the steady drop in floor price, sales volume increased over 30% to total $4.47 million in seven days.
