Donald Trump has proposed abolishing the Department of Education
Former President Donald Trump hinted at a 2024 presidential run while speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
“We will make America proud again, we will make America safe again and we will make America great again,” said the former US president.
Trump has kept the door open for his presidential campaign through crowdfunding and rallies, without officially confirming his ambitions.
Yesterday, former New Jersey governor and former adviser to Mr. Trump, Chris Christie, said the former president’s chances of running for office again are dead.
“Am I convinced that Donald Trump will run for president? I’m not convinced. I think it’s a 50-50 shot at the moment whether he runs or not,” Mr Christie told ABC This Week.
Meanwhile, at the CPAC conference, Mr Trump claimed the January 6 riots at the US Capitol and the alleged 2020 right-wing militia plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer were both “bogus” government schemes .
“The sting they did with Gretchen Whitmer was fake, and so were those who instigated January 6,” Trump said. “It was a fake deal, fake. It was a bogus deal.”

Donald Trump argued during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday that the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol and the alleged 2020 right-wing militia plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer were both “ bogus’ government plans.
“The sting they did with Gretchen Whitmer was fake, and so were those who instigated January 6,” Trump said. “It was a fake deal, fake. It was a bogus deal.”
“Gretchen Whitmer was in less danger than the people sitting in this room right now it seems to me,” Trump added.

Trump is asking supporters for donations to help him sue CNN
More than a week after threatening to sue CNN, Donald Trump has asked supporters on his email list to contribute money to help him fight a lawsuit against him.
Trump said late last month that he would sue CNN and “other media outlets” for dismissing his allegations of voter fraud.
In a 282-page letter sent by the former US president’s lawyer to CNN chief Chris Licht last month, the lawyer argued that the cable network had defamed Mr Trump by calling him a liar over his unproven allegations of fraud. voters and “consistently fed a narrative that denounced President Trump’s legitimacy and competence.”
